At the age of just 16, Bhavik Kumar renounced all worldly possessions and received his first Diksha (initiation) in Sanand, Gujarat, under the sacred guidance of his Guru, Acharya Amritsagarji Maharaj.

Badi Diksha โ€” Jodhpur, Rajasthan

Just four months after his first initiation, he attained Badi Diksha (Final Sainthood) on June 13, 1984, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Bhavik Kumar ceased to exist โ€” reborn as Muni Shri Naypadmasagar Ji.
